Epilation

Epilation is a time-honored method of hair removal that has been in existence for over 150 years. Utilizing radiofrequency (RF) technology and other advancements, this method requires exceptional skill, patience, professionalism and precision.

Epilation technology works by delivering RF waves directly into the hair follicle. Improper insertion may result in surface dispersion of electricity, which, though not dangerous, is undesirable. Skillful technique and precision are crucial to prevent discomfort and scarring while maximizing effectiveness. Complete follicle destruction typically necessitates multiple sessions, varying in number depending on the complexity of each case. While simpler cases may require only a few sessions, more intricate ones can span several years. Still, even in such cases, epilation remains the preferred method for facial hair removal, excluding rare cases which require complex, precise diagnosis after which laser treatments would be recommended. Typically, longer treatment durations are due to hormonal factors, but even then, epilation technology minimizes regrowth, thins and lightens the hairs. Over time, intervals between treatments grow longer.

My name is Yael Avitan, a certified epilator with over 27 years of experience. I have treated thousands of girls and women and refined my skills over the years. I developed the FaceLase method specifically for facial hair removal, tailoring treatments based on hair type and history for optimal outcomes. At my institute, we provide a thorough depiction of the projected results and outline the treatment protocols with the number of sessions and their frequency for achieving the desired outcomes, providing clear explanations of the entire process.

Epilation is suitable for various areas such as the upper lip, chin, sides of the face, cheekbones, forehead and neck, and for hair types unsuitable for laser removal, such as white or isolated hairs.

Laser hair removal

A substantial part of our business management and resources is invested in continuously pursuing the latest and most effective technologies available.

I am Yael Avitan, with decades of experience in laser hair removal and thousands of satisfied clients. Over the years I have developed the expertise to discern between different technologies, focusing on those that are precise, professional, and consistently yield proven results. This ensures our clients have the confidence that they are receiving the best possible treatment.

In 2024, we acquired a cutting-edge laser device from ProMedics called Leaseir, which operates on three wavelengths and has already shown revolutionary results. Clients have reported almost no hair regrowth after just the second treatment session. Our laser devices are suitable for removing a wide range of hair types, including challenging types such as thick or very fine hair, dark or light (including shades of red or dark blonde), and even very downy hair. However, this technology cannot remove white or very blonde hair. There is currently no technology in existence that can effectively remove such hair.

Before initiating treatment, we conduct a comprehensive consultation with each client to assess their hair type, treatment area, age, and medical history. Based on this evaluation, we determine the achievable level of results and recommend the number and frequency of treatments, which vary case by case. Each client receives a customized treatment plan along with a preliminary verbal depiction of the projected outcome.

Anti-Aging Treatments

Achieving youthful, firm skin requires more than just applying cream with a low percentage of active ingredients that do not penetrate deeply into the skin – even an expensive one.

My name is Yael Avitan, and I have been managing my beauty center for over 27 years. I developed the FaceLace method to restore facial skin to its youthful appearance, effectively reversing the signs of aging by approximately ten years. We create a precise and meticulous skincare routine using creams with acids that break down the intercellular glue, preparing the skin for subsequent treatments. Our advanced technology stimulates the skin to rejuvenate itself and channel collagen to areas of deficiency, restoring elasticity and vitality.

We customize technology for each client based on their skin age. We employ controlled injury, heating, and abrasion techniques to create microchannels, prompting the skin to initiate its natural repair process.

Wrinkle repair, firming, and pigmentation treatments are suitable for mature skin. For post-acne skin, we select active ingredients and customized cocktails based on the skin type and the specific issue we aim to address. For fine lines and pigmentation, we use potent ingredients and introduce them with a heating method called electroporation, which restores vitality, firmness, and tightness to the skin. This treatment is ideal for women aged 40 and over, and before special events. To achieve lasting results, a series of four to six treatments at three-week intervals is recommended. This series revitalizes the skin, treating dryness, sagging, and wrinkles. Through this treatment, we stimulate the skin to produce its own collagen and elastin, resulting in firm, smooth, refreshed skin that looks ten years younger.

These treatments offer both immediate and long-term effects. Our glow treatments, which make the skin radiant and fresh, also have a lasting impact, with clients reporting compliments on their glowing skin even weeks after the event.

For our facial treatments, we have a quality control system that adjusts the process based on results observed during the treatment. At each stage, we explain the work done and what still needs to be done, ensuring our clients are informed and satisfied with their skincare journey.

Acne Treatments

Treating acne effectively begins with a precise professional diagnosis to determine whether it is inflammatory, characterized by papules and pustules, and subcutaneous sebum deposits, a more common issue that can progress to inflammatory stages if left untreated. It may also be blackheads or other types of acne which can be significantly improved with the use of acid-based soaps and moisturizer.

After the diagnosis, the client receives detailed instructions. If the issue is subcutaneous (under-the-skin) oily deposits, the skin should be treated with acid-containing soap. The acids break down the oil and remove it from the skin.

Subcutaneous oily deposits require applying a cream containing acids, such as Isolate Salicylate (a lactic acid) before bed twice or three times a week, depending on the condition. These acids break down the oil and bring it up to the surface of the skin. After that, an acid-containing soap should be used to remove the surfaced oil. This gradually improves the skin’s appearance. This process should be combined with professional cleanings by a certified paramedical cosmetician and can take several months.

If the acne is inflammatory, the inflammation must be treated with substances that dry out the pimples. If there are also scars or subcutaneous oils, we combine home treatments with specially tailored products and precise dosages under constant supervision. Follow-ups and reassessments take place every week or ten days, during which we update treatment instructions or add in-clinic treatments as needed. Improvement is gradual, aiming for maximum results and maintenance. Throughout the process, we repeatedly emphasize the importance of using sunscreen to prevent the sun’s rays from worsening the condition and creating scars.

Lesion Removal

Skin tags are clusters of dead skin cells attached to the skin by a small stem-like structure, often found around the neck and areas prone to sweating. Using an Apilus device, we effectively “squeeze out” the skin tag from its root. This quick procedure takes only a few seconds, with results typically ranging from 90-95%, making it a highly effective and recommended treatment.

Non-cancerous skin lesions can take various forms and can be successfully removed. We extract the sebum, and within approximately two weeks, the skin regenerates.

Even stubborn pigmentation spots can be removed. Whether hormonal, solar, or genetic in origin, they can be effectively treated with the Apilus device.

It is important to note that any lesion removal involves a healing period during which a temporary scar may form. Typically, this scar fades within about two weeks.

Pigmentation Treatment

Pigmentation is a condition characterized by changes in skin color (pigment), resulting from an accumulation of melanocytes in the skin’s inner layer called melanin.

There are several types of pigmentation:

Genetic: Inherited pigmentation;

Hormonal: Pigmentation due to hormonal changes in women’s bodies;

Solar: Pigmentation caused by UV radiation exposure from the sun or from radiation-emitting devices.

Post-acne: Occurs after prolonged acne treatments, which can leave spots and scars, leading to increased melanin production in the affected areas;

Cuts or wounds that healed, but left marks on the skin;

Age-related: As skin ages, it loses the ability to produce melanin evenly, resulting in age spots. This type is referred to as “lentigo”.

Treatment:

The first essential step is awareness and regular use of sunscreen and UV protection.

Various cosmetic treatments and paramedical products aim to lighten and disperse pigmentation spots. These treatments utilize acids and retinol containing Vitamin C, as well as alpha hydroxy acids, such as lactic acid, to lighten the spots.

Once the desired results are achieved, it is crucial to continue using a melanin suppressant to maintain the outcome.
